Abbreviation: AISH 
Learning outcomes: The aim of the study module is to familiarise the students with social and health care systems, current issues and research in different countries.
Content: The study module consists of lectures held by visiting lecturers. Each visitor will lecture about topics in health and social care in his or her own country or topics in his or hers own field of expertise.

Conduct: Learning Diary, Participation in Teaching. Details: Learning diary based on lectures chosen by a student. The width of the study module is based on the number of lectures a student reports and reflects in his or hers learning diary. The determination is as follows: - 1 ECTS credit: appr. 10 hrs lectures and 20 hrs independent work - 2 ECTS credits: appr. 15 hrs lectures and 40 hrs independent work - 3 ECTS credits: appr. 20 hrs lectures and 60 hrs independent work The diary will be returned to the international coordinator of student's own department (see contact persons) who will give feedback of the diary. Assessment: Passed / Fail. Details: Please note that the most important thing in writing is communication: a reader should understand contents of the text. Small mistakes in grammar or spelling will not effect on course assessment.
